CARNATED started up as a not so serious band. Some guys from E-TUNA wanted to start a PUNK/HARDCORE band and make some noice in their hometown. LINEUP 1995 - LUDVIG BLOMSTEDT - voice, DANIEL K - voice, DANIEL SULTAN - guitar, CLAS BOHMAN - bass AND KARL LUNDGREN - drums. CARNATED did some shows and 2 demos in 1996. The band got such a good response so they start get seriuos and everyone was pleased with that in the beginning. The first record was a SEVENINCH split with the bandmates OUTBREAK, 3 songs each. The band almost broke up but got a new start 1998, some of the bandmembers changed so the lineup now where - LUDVIG BLOMSTEDT - voice, CLAS BOHMAN - guitar , DANIEL FHYRQVIST - bas, and KARL LUNDGREN - drums. The band started to do some new song and decided to record some stuff. Something was missing with only one guitar so we decided to a second guitarist ANDREAS LJUNGMAN, DANIEL SULTAN and ANDREAS BERTHAGEN helped us out at liveshows. Then we finaly found our guy, RICKARD ANDERSSON that had played in BOMBSHELL ROCKS. The SEVENINCH "ELECTROSTAR" went out on LUNAR RECORDS in august 1998. RICKARD went on a tip to Asia wtih his girlfriend for a year so we decided to ad HANS GRAPENHOLM for a while and he did a hell of a job. "ELECTROSTAR" selled good and we decided to record some new stuff, this time in UPPSALA at THE EAR STUDIO. RICKARD got home and he also came back in the band so the linup then where (and still are) LUDVIG BLOMSTEDT - voice, CLAS BOHMAN - guitar, RICKARD ANDERSSON - guitar ,DANIEL FHYRQVIST - bas and KARL LUNDGREN - drums. We got in contact with POSITIVE OUTLOOK that ghad seen us at the GODLIFE FESTIVAL when we where on tour with CONVINCED summer 1999. They we're interested to release a CD. So we went into the studio again to record two more song for the we where very pleased with that. We also a did our most special tour ever, THE UK TOUR! with OUTBREAK.
